Eurasian Patent make it possible protection by one single patent application in the Russian language in 9 countries. Also Eurasian Patent(EAPO) reduces official fees for applicants from the countries so it provides great cost advantages.
The official language of the Organization is Russian however possibility to file application in any language and translation is to be provided in 2 months after filing if it is in the language other than Russia. As with other patent criteria, a eurasian patent application requires that for any invention is novel and is industrially applicable.

- Republic of Moldova
Turkey is not one of the member states to this Treaty.
